Our Young Adults Step Up: The Telos Parish Outreach Program By Ann Bezzerides
Since 2017, the Telos Project has been endeavoring to serve and nourish young adults in the Orthodox Church, empowered by its ties with HCHC’s Office of Vocation of Ministry and the Lilly Foundation. In the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic, a sub-initiative of the Telos project was born, called the Telos Parish Outreach Program (Telos POP).

The Metropolis of Boston Camp concludes its Separate...But United! Virtual Camp experience. Thanks to the amazing creativity and energy of the Staff Team Virtual Camp was a great success - they both engaged and entertained all of the participants.

Metropolis of Detroit Virtual Summer Camp Reunion
The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Detroit summer camps continue to create virtual ministry opportunities for their campers and staff in the summer of 2020 to connect in faith and fellowship, despite the closure of camps due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Orthodox Christian Studies Center of Fordham University Advances Orthodox Christian Theology of Human Rights
The Orthodox Christian Studies Center, Fordham University, was given a Leadership 100 grant of $250,000 over four years for the program “Affirming an Orthodox Christian Theology of Human Rights.” Initial funding of $50,000 for 2018, $50,000 for 2019, and $50,000 for 2020 has been provided.

Leadership 100 Members Spearhead Building of Waterfront Senior Housing Complex
Judge Marina Corodemus, a longtime member of Leadership 100 and St. Demetrios Church in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, is leading a project to build the St. Demetrios Senior Housing, a waterfront complex overlooking the Raritan River across from the church. The complex is an initiative of the Metropolis of New Jersey and will constitute an official ministry.

Center For Family Care National Conference
Clergy, counselors, pastoral care workers and lay persons from across the United States gathered in Houston, Texas Jan. 22-25 to share insights, tools and resources for strengthening marriages and ministering to married couples in times of challenge and crisis.
Leadership 100 Approves $8.2 Million in Grants, including $5 Million for St. Nicholas National Shrine
The Leadership 100 Board of Trustees, in a historic vote, approved a total of $8.2 million in grants, including a grant of $5 million toward the St. Nicholas National Shrine and $3,174,158 million in additional grants, bringing the total of grants distributed since the founding of Leadership 100 to $60 million.

The Leadership 100 29th Annual Conference, which ran from February 20 to 23, 2020 at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, saw record attendance of 525 members and their guests.

Some 50 Leadership 100 young professionals and their guests gathered for the Christmas holidays on December 12 in New York City. Callie and Anastasia Pantelidis, members of Leadership 100, organized the event.
Mike Manatos Wins DC’s Dancing with the Stars Gala
Mike Manatos, a member of the Leadership 100 Executive Committee, won the DC Dancing with the Stars competition on November 9. Manatos won by raising $85,000 from 251 supporters across the country for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic, of which he became Chairman of the Board in September. Mike’s wife, Laura, President of Laura Evans Media, was emcee of the event.
Archbishop Elpidophoros Inspires Leadership 100 Executive Committee and Board of Trustees As it Elects Officers and Members
His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, meeting for the first time with the Leadership 100 Executive Committee and Board of Trustees, November 7 and 8, 2019 in New York City, inspired both groups with his forthright manner and his vision for the future of the Church. Formally welcomed by Leadership 100 Chairman Argyris Vassiliou, the Archbishop praised Leadership 100 for perpetuating the legacy of Archbishop Iakovos and providing generous support of the Archdiocese for 35 years.
National Leadership 100 Sunday Observered For Eleventh Year
National Leadership 100 Sunday was observed across the country for the eleventh year on October 20, 2019. The celebration is held on the Sunday closest to the Feast of Saint Iakovos on October 23, in honor of the Founder of Leadership 100, Archbishop Iakovos of Blessed Memory.

Tim Tassopoulos, President and Chief Operating Officer of Chick-fil-A, Inc. led the Business Forum on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
Tassopoulos began his 40-year career at Chick-fil-A as an hourly restaurant team member and was appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2016. He has served as Director of Field Operations, Vice President of Operations, Senior Vice President of Operations, and, most recently, Executive Vice President of Operations.

Fr. Jim was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. At St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church in Minneapolis, under the spiritual leadership of Fr. Anthony Coniaris, he served in many capacities.

The Exarch of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, in the presence of His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, presided at the Investiture of twenty-four new Archons from throughout the United States, following the Divine Liturgy at the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Nine of the new Archons are members of Leadership 100.
