John A. Catsimatidis Receives Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation’s Allyship Award

On Thursday, June 1, 2023, the Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation (AJCF) Allyship Award was presented to John A. Catsimatidis at the AJCF’s Annual Gala on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid, now a National Historic Landmark in New York City.

John A. Catsimatidis is the owner and CEO of Red Apple Group and 77 WABC radio. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Archdiocesan Council and a member of the Leadership 100 Executive Committee. He is a founder of Faith Endowment, serves on the National Council of the Order of Saint Andrew, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, as Chair of the Archon Religious Freedom Committee, and as a Board Member and founder of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew Foundation.

Catsimatidis is a member of Holy Trinity Cathedral in New York City and Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons in Southampton, NY.

The Auschwitz Jewish Center Foundation commemorates and preserves the Jewish heritage and history of Oświęcim (Auschwitz), Poland and educates about the Holocaust and the dangers of prejudice and hatred today. For over twenty years, the AJCF has stood firmly as a world-class educational institution against hatred. The AJCF’s educational programs seek to create Allies and Advocates for the future. Its mission currently includes providing crucial aid and educational programs to Ukrainian refugees displaced by the war.
